Welcome to My Site
This is my personal site and first point of contact for visitors who may wish to get in touch with me or read about my work and various pastimes. The site content in general has a weighting towards computer science with particular emphasis on high level programming languages such as Java and C#.NET. As time progresses I expect this site to grow and become a more comprehensive resource for myself and my visitors.

What's Up Lately
I grew up and spent most of my early life in Surrey, England where I stayed until the age of eighteen when I went off to study for my first degree at Oxford Brookes University. Since my graduation from Oxford Brookes I have taught English as a second language in Tokyo, Japan for eighteen months and progressed into a masters degree at La Salle University in Philadelphia, USA, which I graduated from earlier this year.
I have found that my post baccalaureate travels have afforded me many great experiences that are almost impossible to describe in words. I have met and come to know many people from all over the world, some as friends, some as colleagues, many of which I will stay in contact with forever. Knowing these people and working alongside them in such different environments from my home stomping ground has given me great insights into the world we live in and the different cultures and attitudes that exist within it.
I am currently working as a Financial Systems Analyst for a small financial services company in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. Having graduated from La Salle University I decided to stay in America and begin my career as a systems analyst / programmer here. Looking back, it has been an immense amount of work to get to where I am now. Two degrees and many international visas later I have finally ended up in a professional position in the United States doing what I love - programming computers!
Aside from the realm of computing I do have many other interests and I am always keen to discuss my projects and ideas with like-minded people. I love anything technical, and often enjoy building things that I can tinker with. My most recent projects include a full size to-scale model of a Dalek and a five-foot Tesla Coil. You can see pictures of these projects in the Friends section (registration required).
I would encourage any visitors who may be interested in my travels and experiences to register with trevorkeast.com. Once registered you will be able to access the "Friends of Trevor Keast" section where you can view my photo albums, (of which there are many) and other restricted content. A news letter will also be sent out once in a while keeping members up to date with what has been happening in my life and possibly dates of visits to England or other countries.
